Anyone that has a current Titleist fitting cart should have a certified Titleist fitter on staff.  An Advanced FittingWorks Center gets that designation because they have done a tremendous amount of custom fitting and are dedicated to fitting Titleist golf clubs.  They will have a larger matrix of heads and shafts to choose from, a dedicated fitter, a launch monitor, and in general, their focus is on fitting Titleist clubs.

In addition to what Cathi stated, Titleist fitters are green grass facilities therefore you can see ball flight. The chain stores use simulators or just launch monitors.

I recently got fit by an advanced fitter and it was the best golf fitting experience I have had.  Hitting into a net with the launch monitors you see at golf stores is better than nothing but the advanced center I went to was amazing.  I was driven out to the far side of the driving range where there was a small cottage.  He rolled up the garage door of a bay that looked out on to the driving range.  There were 3 cameras, and the back wall was a mirror.  Instead of the 4 different shafts to  try for the 910 driver, he had about 3 full staff bags of shafts.  For my wedge fitting, he had another staff bag full of wedges with different finishes and bounce options.  It was amazing-  I could go there every day.  The Trackman launch monitor is amazing!
