  1. I have hit the 910 D2 9.5 with the Diamana Kai'li shaft and my spin rate was a little high. I love the feel of the shaft. My swing speed is 100-105. I also tried the Aldila RIP 60 shaft, but didn't like the feel as much. Should I go with the D2 and play with the settings or go to the lower spin head with the D3? Thanks.

I would go to a fitter and put your shaft into a D3 head and see if it makes enough of a difference. If that isn't enough, and you love the shaft, you can also have it tipped, the only problem would be that the shaft would be shortened the length you tip it. Or, you can sell the shaft and purchase a tipped shaft built to 45".
  3. I went to a fitter and they didn't have the D3 head (I'm left-handed). The D2 head with the Diamana Kai'li had my spin around 3400 (a little too high). Would the D3 decrease that probably to the range of spin that is recommended?

    Thanks ahead for the advice!

Depending on how much you are trying to lower your spin, the D3 head will lower it maybe 200-300. Lowering loft and/or changing ball may also help.
  5. Cathy, I'm looking to get a heavier weight. I'v tried the 12 g weight. My shafte is heavy and cut to 44 inches. I would like to try a 14 or 16 g weight. Will you be making those weights and if so when? If not what are the tour vans doing to increase the swingweight for the players. Thanks.

You can also increase the swingweight of your driver by installing a lighter grip. What swingweight are you trying to achieve? The standard club is a D4 to D5 depending on the shaft, do you really need something higher?

Hi Jim, We can internally increase the weight (a limited amount) in your head, but once the weight is added, it cannot be removed. We would want you to have the 12 gram weight in the head so that you can at least get the weight back down 10 grams if you choose to change shafts or lengthen your club. Try putting 2-4 grams of lead tape on the axis of the club (between the face and the weight screw on the silver plating, important -not on the PVC finish)and see if that works and if you would like us to try and weight the head for you.
