I really want to move to Scotty putter; - have a fancy for new California(Monteray) model. Need 31" or max 32". Unfortunately told by stockist that its not possible to order and that cutting a 33" is not advisable? Any help welcome.

Did you contact Scotty Cammeron custom shop. They work wonders.

    Brian,

Unfortunately, we can only order them at 33" as the shortest length.  One option you do have, is to order the putter at 33" and have it sent to the Custom Shop (link below).  They will be able to not only match that length, but re-weight the club head to match the swing weight you may want (your call).

    Brian,

Lead time is estimated at 20 days in house and the cost will be $45 plus shipping (for just the length adjustment).

Thanks camereon. Does length adjustment include checking balance afterwards. We are in Ireland. Can we send putter from here or is there a European centre for these type of adjustments. Thanks Brian

    Brian,

The length adjustment is just that.  You can request heavier/lighter weight, but it will carry a charge.  Scotty Cameron Custom Shop will take in putters from all over the world.

    Hope this helps!

Cameron, is there a phone number I can call your custom shop on. The stockist here told us that cutting the club down below 33" would affect the balance on the putter and that Titleist would not recommend it. Do you think it would work if we get a 33" cut down and leave the weights the same. Thanks for your time on this. Brian

    Brian,

Scotty does recommend certain weights for different putter lengths and certain swing weight ranges for those lengths, but changing them to your preference would ultimately be up to you.  If you can handle a lighter putter or would prefer a lighter putter, that's up to you, but there will always be recommendations for you to reference.
