Newport vs Kombi

    I have been using for over 6 yeras the original Newport (34" / 2.5 loft with 2 lines of lead tape in the bottom of the club) with excellent results - just purchased a Kombi belly putter 41" - (1) what weight should the head be and if I can add lead tape since I feel the putter to light in overall weight (2) can I change the loft and what loft should it be consideing the 2.5 on Newport - should it be the same loft?     Ron,

    The amount of lead tape you add to your Kombi will be up to you, since it affects swing weight which is your personal preference.  We don't have a measured swing weight of the Kombi's because of how long they are (off the charts).  The standard loft of the Kombi is 4* as well as all of the in-line putters Scotty is currently making.
