I recently hit -- and decided to order -- the AP1 712s at a Titleist Advanced Fitting shop (Roger Hatcher of the Golf Tour Trailer's studio at 1757 Golf Club in Dulles, VA). Two thumbs up for the clubs and for the fitter! I was surprised how, even as a high handicapper w/ a slow swing speed, I hit these new 712's much better than my current TM irons (which were also custom fit by another top-rated fitter whom I recommend, Wade Heintzelman at the Golf Care Center). Roger did a great job from a club-fitting, swing-tip and friendly-service perspective! I've ordered the 712s, and for my 910 woods I've ordered some of the new Bassara W ultralite shafts.
