You could substitute the KBS Tour shafts in the AP2's for the KBS C tapers, which spin a little less than the KBS Tours and give a slightly more penetrating launch characteristics that you may need and are looking for. Thanks for the reply. I wanted to try the KBS C Taper, but the rep did not have any. He was thinking that the C Taper might bring the Launch down to much, which was around 16 to 17 degrees during the fitting.

Yes, the launch angle is ok, but you certainly wouldn't want it lower than 16-17. OK, how bout this, Maybe it would still be worthwhile finding someone who has the C tapers, just to satisfy yourself first. This is an age old problem of companies offering shafts as options, but its hard to find anyone to try them! Its not good enough really. However, have a good hunt around to see if you can find anyone to try them first, as maybe soft stepping them could be the answer to this. It should keep the spin down due to the bend profile of the shaft, but if soft stepped, should help with the ball flight just that little bit. Stay in touch though eh? Jason
