Actually putting it on the bottom is the best spot to add lead tape too on a putter. Just make sure to smooth it down with a wooden pencil or dowel so it is nice and smooth.
The 105T seems to have a higher ball flight, but the 970 is a lighter shaft. Is the ball flight of the ball flight of the 970 that much lower? Are there any other differences?

Hi John L, the new balls should be available at your local pro shop. I have always played the ProV1x, and I received a sleeve last summer of the new balls as a test...they were good but I have found the new balls to be even better than the test balls…
