I didn't really notice the sound on the fairway wood or hybrids, but I did on the driver. To me the sound of the driver is much more muted than other clubs. It's not a bad thing, just different. It's a pain when I have to pull out my ear plugs…

The lie can be adjusted to -.75 degrees flat. If you shorten the shaft you can achieve a flatter effective lie angle.
