Course is mostly dry, temp was cool(nice), little breeze, started early waiting on no one, condition were just the best they possibly could have been.

Thanks MIke.  You had me scared for a minute.  Thought I was gonna have to return my new AP2's and head over to Golfsmith. 

Ferrules are cosmetic only. If you have a shaft that works well just fix it. There is variation in shafts so the replacement may not be the same even though it looks the same. A drop of epoxy or super glue and push back! Really no big deal.
