Josh, 

If you tip any shaft, you will lower the spin and launch slightly.  This will firm up the tip section of the shaft and can change the feel as well.  Depending upon how fast your ball speed/club head speed was, you will want to get your spin down…

Thanks for the feedback David.  I was very surprised when I hit the AP2 irons with the Tour AD 65i graphite shafts.  Definitely picked up several MPH of club head speed and the launch angle was high.  Seemed to control the ball just fine as well.  I've asked…
