Team Titleist Talks Custom Performance Options (Live Discussion Recap)

Before you could buy Pro V1x Left Dash at your local golf shop or score a dozen Pro V1 Left Dot through a limited run on Titleist.com, golfers nearly needed a PGA TOUR card to get their hands on a Titleist Custom Performance Option (CPO) golf ball. While the vast majority of professionals on the worldwide tours play the exact same Pro V1 or Pro V1x you do, CPOs play a key role across worldwide professional tours and the Titleist Golf Ball R&D development process.

CPOs already have a dedicated following within Team Titleist so members jumped at the opportunity to join Titleist golf ball experts for a deep-dive live discussion. Frederick Waddell (Golf Ball Product Director), Fordie Pitts (Titleist Tour Consultant, Golf Ball Performance), and Doug Jones (Golf Ball R&D Project Manager) all work closely within the CPO program and did not hold back many insider details during the live Q&A.

While we would have loved for you to join in real-time, we did record the session and curated the best clips into the following Youtube playlist for your enjoyment. Between clubs, gear, and everything else Titleist, we love having these live discussions with Titleist fans around the world. Keep an eye on our discussion boards, social channels, and email newsflash to ensure you don’t miss out on the next one.
