TITLEIST REVITALISE FAMOUS ‘RED BOX’ PTS RANGE WITH NEW PTS SOLO

Over the last two decades, thousands of golfer all over the world have bought their trusty ‘red box’ Titleists. Ever since its launch in 1982 the Titleist PTS has proved to be an incredibly popular golf ball delivering legendary Titleist performance at an affordable price point. The PTS has constantly undergone refinements and improvements but the fundamental principles of distance, control and durability have remained consistent enabling the ‘red box phenomenon’ to prosper.

Titleist enjoyed another year as the clear #1 in the golf ball market in 2002 thanks to the all conquering Pro V1, the introduction of the NXT family and of course the continued success of the famous ‘red box’ PTS.

The new PTS SoLo is particularly well suited to recreational golfers with mid to low swing speeds. It features a new core and cover combination to deliver increased core velocity and higher ball speed for lower speed players resulting in longer distance. In addition the new design delivers a softer feel than its predecessor and also generates less spin reducing the amount of hook or slice spin imparted onto the ball.

We believe the improved performance and price point of the PTS SoLo will widen the appeal of the PTS franchise even further and provide the golfer a superb value for money Titleist ball."

The new PTS SoLo will appear on the shelves from February and has a Suggested Retail Price of £22.00 per dozen.
