Head of Operations (M/F)

Your main responsibilities:

Pre-Opening Phase:
You will act as project leader and be responsible for the implementation of this new factory across all the following areas:

Strategic planning
Construction project management
Equipment selection and installation
Recruitment and team organization
Industrial process setup
Operational ramp-up management
Communication and reporting

Post-Opening Phase:

Oversee operational activities while ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are met
Manage the operational cost centers’ budgets: monitor expenses closely and ensure alignment with financial plans
Ensure proper application of company social policies in compliance with current regulations
Lead and develop teams: support skills development, monitor performance, and encourage best practice sharing within operational teams
Contribute actively to regional strategy as a key member of the EMEA leadership team, taking into account the challenges of the three sub-regions
Identify and propose strategic investments to enhance production performance in the short, medium, and long term
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security standards in line with local and international regulations

Profile:

Master’s degree in production management, industrial management, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in an industrial environment recognized for operational excellence and continuous improvement, holding a position such as Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Industrial Director within an international setting
Proven ability to autonomously manage a production site — technically, financially, organizationally and in terms of human resources— implementing performance and optimization tools (KPIs, etc.)
Experience in project management and operational start-up
Recognized for strong leadership, charisma, and agility in a challenging environment
Strong commitment to quality, workplace safety, security, and environmental performance
Fluent in French and English
Willingness to travel internationally
