Hey all - NE Ohio guy here who will be heading to Greensboro for the weekend. Trying to determine whether I should make a special trip from Greensboro to Pinehurst to visit the store? I know it's about an hour and fifteen minutes, and I'm sure I'd find ways to empty my wallet - but is there anything super special there that would make it a no brainer?

Titleist was the #1 ball at the PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes with a total of 178 players teeing up a Pro V1, Pro V1x or Pro V1x Left Dash golf ball.
Titleist was also the field’s top choice in every major club category, as more players also gamed Titleist drivers (45%), fairways (39%), hybrids (42%), utilities (64%), irons (44%), Vokey wedges (48%) and Scotty Cameron putters (30%) than any other brand. 
Among the 20 PGA Championship qualifiers, Titleist led the way in golf balls (13), drivers (10), irons (10), wedges and putters (7).

This week, those staff professionals will tee it up in the 108th PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania. Take a look inside their bags as they compete for a chance to take home the Wanamaker Trophy.

Whether it's TV coverage, social media, a tip from your local PGA pro, or something you overheard at the shop, what have you heard that has you fired up to try a GTS driver?

For me, it started with a text exchange shared during our Monday team catch-up meeting: a message from a prominent non-contracted Tour player to one of our Tour fitters. I won't share the exact words, but it's not every day a Tour player texts a club fitter like a kid on Christmas.

The other notable one for me was a common trend observed in early fittings. Tour players were registering faster swing speeds with GTS. We typically focus on ball speed gains for driver performance, but our Tour reps kept noticing something different than past launches: players were swinging harder. More stability. More confidence. More freedom to go after it.

And as an employee who has been fortunate to play a GTS3 in my last few rounds, I completely get it. For you that know me, I am not the most accurate driver of the golf ball. My first three drives with GTS3 found the fairway. Tension on the tee faded. The swing freed up. I've been letting it fly with GTS and gettings "oooohs" and "aaaahhhs" I haven't heard in years. I am in love.

I was one of the lucky ones and managed to get fit into the Titleist GTS3 driver and 3 wood today. The consistency on the miss hits was super impressive and the speed of the 3wood head was crazy good.

Bringing back a 10,000-Hour Golf Journey - Looking for Feedback

Hi Team Titleist,

I recently joined the community and wanted to introduce myself.

I’m Dan, and I’m currently documenting a long-term 10,000-hour golf experiment called The New Dan Plan - a modern resurgence of the original journey from 2009, but built for today through video-first storytelling instead of blogs.

I just crossed 700 hours, have broken 80 from both the golds and whites, and am now approaching a single-digit handicap.

The original Dan Plan was an incredible proof of concept, but it ultimately stopped around 6,000 hours due to injury. For me, the goal is to see this all the way through to truly understand what happens if someone commits to the full 10,000-hour process, and to test the idea of what it really takes to become “expert” at something. And honestly, it feels like the journey is just beginning.

Now the questions become:

-How do I consistently stay in the 70s? -What actually separates a single-digit from scratch? -What does it take to perform under pressure?

I’ve started competing on the US Am Tour to get more meaningful reps, and I’m trying to build this step by step — with structure, data, and real on-course results.

This isn’t about being an influencer. It’s about chasing a life goal and documenting the process as honestly as possible.

I’d love to share parts of this journey with the community, and I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, insights, or stories from others who’ve gone deep into improving their game.

Congrats on your progress, I will be interested to follow your result at the end of the journey. A note about sticking with it, I recently shot an even par 71, my lowest round ever. I am 66 and have been playing since I was 10. I retired in November of last year and now that I have time to dedicate to the game, I am seeing results.
To stay in the 70s consistently, the most important aspect is 100 yards and in. A consistent repeatable shot with the driver would be next. Nail those and 70s should come regularly.

I’ve never owned a Titlelist driver but I am currently playing a cally carbon fiber faced driver and I’m not happy with the feel or the club face when hit solid. I’d be happy to try something different.

I'm upgrading from the 910 D2!!!! I was recently fitted for the GT3 but decided to wait for the GTS. I can't imagine I won't see some huge benefits with the new technology from 2011 vs today. Fitting is booked for Friday and I cannot wait!

I currently use the TSR3, and it has been excellent. But it also has been 3 years, and if i can gain more ballspeed, launch and forgiveness on mis-hits it'll be everything i need. I liked the feel and sound of the GT3, and i know they can only improve with the GTS line. I am very excited to get my hands on one at a fitting day!

3 Clubs for a Round – How Would You Play It?

I was thinking recently about a 3-club tournament I played a few years back. The course was on the shorter side, roughly 5,800 yards. I decided to go with a 3-wood, 8-iron, and 54-degree wedge. I ended up using the 3-wood as a putter from longer distances and the 54-degree wedge as a putter from shorter distances.

Everyone in the event seemed to have a different strategy, which was part of the fun and really shows how much it comes down to what works for your game.

It got me curious. If you had to play 18 holes with just 3 clubs, which ones would you choose? Or if you’ve played in a similar event, what clubs did you decide to go with?

I am one of those players buying prior model at discount while new technology displaces old.

I just bought GT2 driver a few weeks ago and am loving the results from a superior fitting process with Titleist. I play weekly and over about a month only 3 missed fairways and that is a swing issue not the club.

Four holes are no longer D off the tee. Too much distance and blow through fairway on the dogleg.

Not diss-missing any of the hype in any case, because I have been a part of the mix.
So no hype talk here, I am just down right plain Excited, that this day is finally arriving !!
From the very first day, from the very first T - Box, I have absolutely loved my TSI Driver.
It has been dialed in and re-dialed in, as I have grown better and better with this class act, of Titleist Driver.
So, YES I AM DEFINITELY EXCITED FOR THIS DAY TO HAVE FINALLY COME !!
I am completely ready for this next chapter of Titleist.

I follow @PGAPappas on X.com, formerly Twitter. He comments on that site, but he also does in depth reviews on his blog. He had glowing remarks about these new drivers from Titleist. He tried the GTS2, 3, and 4 versions, and he said that all of them were absolutely superb.
I'm still using a Titleist 909D2, so it's probably time I upgraded, and these sound like a big time upgrade :)

Yes the title is correct, If you are getting up in age 60+ get your PSA levels checked. I did and am glad I did. Mine was high and yes it's cancer . Lucky it was caught early and I should be good to go in a couple months. No restrictions so I will be on the course through it all. A PET scan showed it was contained to the Prostate , a big relief on that. Not looking for anything from anybody just a heads up to all "seasoned duffers". Have fun and hit um straight.
