I am new to these Team Titleist forms but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I am a competitive golfer out of Houston tx and will be attending Q-School this year in hopes of earning my card. Currently I am sitting around a +7.8 hcp.

Does anyone know if Titleist only sponsors current tour pros or if there are ways to earn sponsorships while earning your card?

Had a fitting, ordered and already have a GTS2 driver, GTS2 13.5 fairway, and GTS3 7 wood in hand and already out on the course.

Gained about 5 mph ball speed on driver, and higher launch and lower spin with the fairways. Went with the GTS3 head in the 7 wood for it's deeper face and the added benefit of hitting out of the rough if I get in that situation.

Great additions to my bag, and definite improvements in performance and looks from past models.

Graphite Design Tour AD FI shaft in driver, Tensei 1K Blue in the fairways.

Not sure what the holdup is on my 2 new clubs, but dang, I never realized how many delivery trucks go through our neighbourhood, now if only one would stop with my new toys! haha

It has been a long haul, but things are starting to fall in place. Played in our men's Interclub matches today. It has been a long time since I have been physically able to do that. September 2025. Have been working on my game, not quite where I want it to be yet, but getting there. Sand traps and I just have not gelled yet. Finish tied for 7th today and in the money. A sweet 84. What a great feeling.

Eleven teams playing with ten members on each team, top eight scores count. We finished second as a team, losing to the home team by one point. Their greens were not in the best of conditions. Like putting on a carpet, but as the saying goes, we all had to put on them. Hammer time.

Our course is the next match on the 29th. They hate our greens because they are fast and lots of undulations. .

Back still hurts, had MRI for muscle strain in lower back. Know results on Thursday. Was told it takes three months to heal. Salonpas helps. Feels so good to be back in the game. Hakuna matata.

It's great when you can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This game will humble you and then give you glimpses of greatness. It's why we all keep trying to play that one perfect round that never comes.

Thanks Don, for the heads up on the Jameson tour. Our host gallery, who is paying for the cruise is also paying for a tour of the city which includes a tour of the Jameson distillery we will only be there one day. One shot is enough for me as long as it is their 18 year old. No driving we are visiting a number of cities along the coasts of England, Ireland and Scotland. Will be visiting Rembrandt's house/museum while in Amsterdam before we leave on the Celebrity Eclipse cruise ship. We are art collectors and this is a VIP art cruise. We will be departing Amsterdam and visiting Waterford (Dunmore E), Ireland; Dun Laoghaire, Ireland; Liverpool, England; Belfast, N. Ireland; Glasgow, Scotland; Lerwick, Scotland, Inverness; Scotland (Lock Ness); and back to Amsterdam. A packed fun filled vacation, meeting famous artists, seeing master's works and enjoying great meals. They do treat us well. I'll pick up a pint of Guinness at a local pub when we are out and about. It tastes a lot better over there. We did a trip over there a number of years a go and stayed in a B&B in the town of Killarney, County Kerry. Delightful stay. Did it through an Irish tour guide. They picked up up everyday and played five courses.

did a fitting at my Club last Saturday and LOVE the new GTS2 driver. It gives me the spin that was missing from the GT series and provides me around 20 additional yards. I went with the 10* and Fujikura 2025 Air Speeder 40 stiff shaft.

as the song goes, the waiting is the hardest part!

To note, essentially all of us are amateur Titleist enthusiasts. Titleist employees moderate the forum for derogatory comments but otherwise do not participate.

From my Ireland trips, if it is a choice while in Dublin, pick the Guinness tour over the Jameson. Jameson is a “recreation” as it is distilled near Cork. The Jameson tour is not free and only incudes one shot.
The Tullamore DEW tour in Tullamore is the actual distillery and includes more samples. The 12 year old was magic.
If driving, Guinness 0 is a solid recommendation.
Can’t offer any advice on the UK. Other than the Twinings tea shop in London.

Will be out of golf for a short period. We are heading to England, Ireland and Scotland for vacation and cruising the isles. No golf just fun and relaxation. Looking forward to visiting the Jameson Distillery, walking where the Beatles did their thing and looking for the Lock Ness monster. Yeah, I believe in the Easter Bunny also. You guys hit'em straight. Free cruise, free booze.

Titleist provides product support to exempt players on several worldwide professional tours, including the US PGA TOUR, DP WORLD TOUR, LPGA TOUR, LIV GOLF, PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS, KORN FERRY TOUR, AUSTRALASIAN TOUR, ASIAN TOUR, JAPAN GOLF TOUR, JAPAN LADIES PGA TOUR, KOREAN TOUR, LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR, PGA TOUR AMERICAS, and SUNSHINE TOUR. For these tours we provide golf balls and golf gloves to over 2,000 professionals worldwide. Titleist believes it is important to stay in contact on a promotional level with the next generation worldwide exempt player. We are, however, limited in the number of players we can assist with product support, due to the overwhelming number of requests and budgetary constraints.

To maintain open-ended fairness to the identification process, we review the current season-ending and/or year-end money lists from all of the established mini-tours and secondary tours worldwide which predominantly feature 3 or 4 day events. I was fit by Chase Wood at Sherrill Park in May. I was amazed by the difference. I had a terrible fitting experience with GT, but the GTS was astounding in it's ability to reduce the dispersion. The consistency across the face, and even on mishits, is something I've never seen before. I was fit into a GTS2, with the orange DI shaft. The shaft changes that could affect the ball launch and shape were wild to me as well.

I have played four rounds with the GTS, and I wasn't sure if the fitting results would carry over to the course. They did! I have so much more confidence standing on the tee box with the GTS in my hands. Unfortunately, it can also work too well as I found out with my drive going over the cliff on Pebble Beach #8.

Simply put, I have been super impressed with the GTS driver. So much so, that I am going back to get fit for the woods (currently using a TSi2 5w, and TSr 3w) as I have heard they're just as improved and good.

So, I was recently fitted for a new GTD2 Driver and Rip. 55 Gm shaft. Question: Can we have the face CT test number results of the head we purchase from Titleist? Can we assume all the best (fastest) heads get sent to your players?

After hitting about 20 different weight / length / head setups yesterday, I placed the order for the GTS3 Driver. Plenty of length off the tee, just need a tighter dispersion.

New GTR3 Specs: 10º loft, Tensei 1K Black X-Stiff 65g, -1" in Length, Standard CG with a SureFit +4g H1 weight. A1 Hosel Setting.

Moving from a TSR3, 10º, -0.5" Length, Tensei CK Pro White X-Stiff 60g, standard weights. D3 Hosel Setting.

Now just need to get back and finish the fitting for the 3w / 5w / 7w to see what other additions are needed!

Sometimes it’s hard to replicate fitting data on the golf course. That has not been the case for me after playing 3 rounds with GTS 3.

My couch told me I wasn’t allowed to change from my GT3 because it was so good… but after play with him yesterday, agreed that GTS is a good upgrade. I’m seeing higher launch, 4mph increase in ball speed and 10 more carry distance.

I can’t get over how good it feels and sounds, either.

I had my fitting with Titleist fitter Nick Chan, He was great! The GTS 2 was a huge improvement over my old 917 D2. I gained yardage and the miss hits were less penalizing than my old driver. Highly recommend getting fit with the Titleist fitting crew. Ended up with The GTS 2 with Tensei red 11deg and a GTS 2 5 wood. Also ordered a WedgeWorks 62m wedge. Can't wait for my order to ship!

Yes the title is correct, If you are getting up in age 60+ get your PSA levels checked. I did and am glad I did. Mine was high and yes it's cancer . Lucky it was caught early and I should be good to go in a couple months. No restrictions so I will be on the course through it all. A PET scan showed it was contained to the Prostate , a big relief on that. Not looking for anything from anybody just a heads up to all "seasoned duffers". Have fun and hit um straight.
