I’m about to order a Phantom 9 through Titleist and looking for some feedback on grips.

I’ve tried the Full Contact (too small) and the Matador (too soft and not great when my hands get a bit wet). Unfortunately, none of these grips are available to try in-store here in Canada.

I’m mainly deciding between the Pistolini Plus and the Pistolero Plus and just looking for some real-world feedback between the two—feel, size, taper, etc.

I know grips are personal, but with no way to test them, I’d really appreciate hearing what others prefer between these two.

Hi, just wanted to share my experiences with both Scotty Cameron Galleries. I went to the one in Encinitas a few years ago (right before they lifted window shopping of course) and it felt like they had barely anything. There was also no head covers for sale and I did pick up a few things but overall there was not much. Then, this year, I decided to take a trip over to Japan to explore the Hamamatsu gallery and there was even less there. I did have a fitting there and it went well but the lack of Circle T selection (they fitted me into a phantom 5.2 and all they offered me to buy was a 7.0) and the lack of hardly any exclusive, japan-only items really bugged me. For example, the only headcovers that they had to offer were ones that were available in the custom shop online, and any grips or shaft bands available for purchase had to be sent through their custom shop (which was really the one in Carlsbad) and would have taken weeks and costed more than just sending your putter off in the first place. They honestly both felt like a wasted trips considering they were supposed to be the main attraction.

Absolutely love this putter. I finally found a putter where my aim matches the line the ball travels. I have been struggling to get the ball rolling on the path where I think I am aimed, and this putter is absolutely fantastic. Love the tackier, thicker Scotty Cameron putter grip. Feels and looks great.

Which Mallet?

Looking for some feedback. on which SC to purchase. I have a tendency to take the putter to the outside.and miss putts left. So i would prefer a little more inside arc to my stroke. Do i need some with toe hang to help that or something face balance to try and maintain a square face. Any suggestion of which SC mallet would benefit.my stroke?

Left Handed 2026 Phantom 7.5 Availability

Just wanted to come on here and let everyone know that I am very impressed with the 11R OC. I have had a LAB which is good, but the way the 11R OC sets up to me is just better. If anyone is interested in feedback just let me know and I will do my best to answer any questions you have!

Paint fill Commandments

Need some opinions here!

Is it taboo to do custom paint fill on your SC putters that you DO NOT send into the SC Custom Shop?

Feel like it may go against the commandments but I also don't want to be without my putter for upwards of a month from drop off to delivery.

If its done right, doe the Scotty Cameron Community frown upon this?

Thinking about this putter. I’m concerned about length and lie. I’m 6’6” and feel I need something longer than 35”. My irons are +1” and 2* upright. Should be looking at same setup for putter?

My gamer is a 2025 Scotty Phantom 11 I also have a Squareback as my backup. So, I was cleaning up the basement and looked at a putter from another manufacturer that Rory uses and asked myself-if I never use this putter, it needs to go. I went to my local golf shop and came home with this beauty. Any Team members play one of the Black series? What do you think?

I wish Scotty Cameron would make a broom stick putter. I've even asked them to give me a price to make one and I get no response. Especially with the success of players like Adam Scott, Akshay Bhatia and Will Zalatoris you'd think they would at least consider it??????

GOLO 6 v. Fastback OC

I have been extremely torn between keeping my GOLO 6 and having it refinished with SC or if I should just “upgrade” to the newest OC. I am a standard straight back straight through putter and the GOLO 6 has worked great for me over the last few years for sure, but it has seen its days. I leant it to a buddy for a couple weeks and he lost the headcover so that’s gone and the head got pretty beat up as well since he was running it without the cover.

I don’t LOVE the look of the way the shaft attached to the back of the face on the OC. So I’m not sure it’s the perfect upgrade for me, but definitely seems to fit my game a little more.

I will never leave the mid mallet game. Does anybody have any recent experiences with the Fastback OC? Just doesn’t seem worth 400$ and many weeks to have it refinished compared to 550$ and in my hand today.

I need to go with a tie hang putter due to my putting arc. I currently have a phantom 8.5 and a select round back. What model should I look for if I need more toe hang. Are the two I have very little toe hang?

Studio Style Square Back 2

Looking for any feedback from anyone switching from a special select square back putter to the studio style. I have a straight back and through putting line and enjoy the look of the new putter. Anyone who’s switched? I’d love to hear you review and experience. I do t have a need to upgrade or switch but don’t want to wish list a putter change that doesn’t hunt the same as my Scotty now.

I currently game the 5.5 Scotty and love this but looking to explore the OC range.

Was looking at the 11OC but now the 5OC is on the way im torn between the two.

After years of good service, my Scott Buckets will officially be placed in upper management and Scott Buckets 2.0 takes over in the bag.

Last year mid season I was messing around rolling different putters and saw a Scotty that caught my eye. That putter was the phantom 9.5. Everything from the way that it looks, sets up, and alignment aids were awesome. I stroked a few putts and hit my line every single time so soon after I ended up getting it. I did all of this indoor no fitting. After getting it outside I hit small pushes and pulls with it and ocsssionally hit my line. My ole faithful is a png tr 1966 blade. I’ve had a lot of good rounds with it and used it all throughout college. I’m still and active tournament golfer as an amateur but play professional events as well if I’m offered a spot. My problem is that I literally can get comfortable with it that I can hit my line consistently. I hit my lines maybe 50% of the time or it’s a push or pull and it’s hard to trust. I feel so good over it and I align it better than my blade which is a green light but nothing matters if you can’t hit the putt where you’re looking. I’m not sure if it’s a neck thing or if I need something custom because I don’t do well with face balanced putters. Any suggestions or contacts anyone can share to guide me in the best direction? I’d really like to use this thing. Honestly breaks my heart.

Scotty Putter Grips! Need guidance!

I play the Winn x-Pro 1.18 putter grip currently. I feel like it’s a decent midsize grip. I’ve been researching Scotty grips, specifically the Matador. I’ve noticed Scotty doesn’t list sizes (1.18, etc) on their grips, just Standard/Midsize/Oversized. Based on pictures I’ve seen, the midsize looks almost standard.

Does/has anyone played the Winn 1.18? If so, is it more similar to Scotty’s midsize or oversized? It feels like a dumb question, and pictures can be deceiving, but from what I’ve gathered the Matador line seems like it “runs smaller” than normal varied sizings on other brands’ grips. I appreciate any and all help! Hit em straight
