AP1 716 irons

Anyone still gaming AP1 716s in 2026? I know they were 2016 release but a lot of stores had them in the UK up until 2019 so they’re not ‘that’ old. I had a set then got rid of them and have regretted it ever since!

I love my 907 D1 Driver but starting to think that I might need an upgrade. There are so many good options out there but wondering what the best option might be. Should I start with something more recent or just go straight to a 2026 Model? Look forward to the advise that everyone provides.

When is it time to get new clubs

Been playing the same set of clubs since 2021 and don't have any real performance issues with them but just wondering if it's time to maybe look at purchasing new clubs. I play about 10 - 20 times a year and there isn't really too much wear on my current clubs but starting to see a few nicks and dings. Do I wait until the clubs have more wear or look to replace them since they are 5 years old. I kept my previous miz Irons for about 7 years before switching to my current irons. Just curious what everyone else thinks

GTS Hybrids

Hi all, Im getting the new GTS Metals this year as a replacement for my current 917 Driver and 3 wood. I also want to get the GTS 3 hybrid but I have yet to see something from Titleist regarding the hybrid lineup. Only the Drivers and the Fairwaywoods got announced via photos etc. Will the hybrids get released at the same time as the drivers and fairwaywoods and there is just not anything to find at the moment? I want to upgrade my bag if possible at the same time with driver, fairway and hybrid.

With all due respect to the 907 series (I played the D2), the D1 might be the worst looking, worst sounding driver Titleist has made in the metal wood era. I think you'll be really pleased with newer offerings, specifically the TSi2 - GT2 range. If you can go hit those, you'll absolutely find one that works and with the GTS line coming out, the previous models won't break your wallet.

I am replacing my PXG Gen4 0311 P with T350 oil can series with SM11 60* wedge. I think the shafts are better now and the oil cans look amazing.

I received a new GT2 9* driver and all new vokey wedges recently. My first round with these I shot a 66. My best round ever! All the hard work and having the right tools is paying off. Proud Team Titleist member!!!! Thank you

Questions to ponder:

1. If you switch out, do you believe that new clubs will it help your scoring, hurt your scoring --- or make no difference?
2. When thinking about switching out, do you consider appearance more important than performance or is the reverse more or a priority?
3. Would it be realistic for you to keep two sets of clubs --- one as a practice set and another as a gamer only set?

Do a fitting and then decide. You might be amazed at what a current model properly fit to your swing will be like. It’s a very important club in your arsenal.

If you don’t have Titleist in the bag then yes, it’s certainly time for an upgrade. :) Seriously, every person has different budgets and priorities so who are we to say when you should upgrade. I do it often now but my kids are grown, I’m retired with a decent savings, so easy for me to make the change. The latest technology is awesome so there are certainly benefits to staying current.

Scratches on Phantom 9R from Headcover

There are unexplained scratches on the top of my Phantom 9R which I can only assume have come from the headcover. I am disppointed that a new putter would be like this after a few rounds, Any others seeing this?

I did have a fitting and the Titleist rep suggested the 2 iron. I am finally close to sorting the bag and have settled on 620 MB's 4-PW, the T250 3 iron as a driving iron and to use on long par 5 approaches, png G440 LST driver and png G440 LST 5 wood and Vokey SM10's 50,54,58. I have found that the 620 MB 4 iron is quite the weapon off the tee. I can comfortably fly it 215-220 off the tee when a layup is the play. That gives me several options off the tee when driver is too much.

Ditch the 2 iron??

Ok, I have been away from the sport for a while and now I'm getting my equipment updated. I have the U505 2 iron and when I hit it well...oh my. Problem is I have zero confidence in it and it is not easy to hit. I got fitted for T100's p-6 and T250's 3-5. I haven't received my 250's yet. Here is my thought process, ditch the 2 iron because the T250 3 iron will probably fill that distance slot or close to it and get a 5 wood. I currently have a big gap between the driver and the soon to be 3 iron. I was hoping the 2 iron would be the answer but it's just really hard to hit for me. Oh, I also have a 19* hybrid which I do not like. I'm thinking ditch the 2 iron and get a 5 wood and call it a day.

Real or fake t150

I just buoght some new t150 i started to get a little bit worried if they are fake, what do you think? I saw the number of the seven is a little bit smaller

Bought from an authorized dealer be they new or used?
Bought from a local golf shop that warrants authenticity?
Bought from a local golfer on a one to one basis?
You need to be able to trust the seller.
If you bought it through what I refer to as garage resellers through a site like eBay, then the odds are higher that they may be fake and if not authentic, then recourse may not work out well. They can be authentic but others can slip through.
If you are in the US and bought them online and they were shipped from outside the US, odds are they are counterfeit.
The old saying applies. If the price is too good to be true, it isn’t. Counterfeits are getting so good, they are hard to distinguish on a photo here.

The -1 series has always been behind the rest of the woods. Remains to be seen if the GTS-1 fairway replaces the GT model replaced on its own in the last year. But the drivers should be out later in the summer.

Why fight it? Hybrids and lofted fairway woods give you something that the long irons don't which is why they are being changed out by even the best players. They launch higher, carry farther, and stop quicker that the long irons do.

631 CY irons

Anyone else hoping to see Titleist do a limited release of the 631 CY irons like they did with the 680's? Wider sole, more bounce and a blunted leading edge would be a great addition and compete with srxn. C'mon Titleist!!!
