Product Shortages

Can anyone at TT provide a list of products that are backlogged? There seems to be a lot of people who have placed orders and have very lengthy wait times for delivery. When we place an order and there are shortages of grips, shafts, or otherwise, we may be able to explore other options to shorten the wait while still buying quality products. Uncertainty in product delivery creates uncertainty in consumer ambition. Just a thought.

Everything is so fluid right now with manufacturing and shipping that communicating delivery estimates has proved more harm than good. Our best solution right now is to keep shops and fitters updated on the latest but we even have to tread softly there as things can change by the hour.

We know how brutal this is as a consumer and we have all hands on deck trying to find better practices and solutions. The good news is we are drastically expediting efforts to alleviate these communication lapses that haven't been much of an issue until now.

Thanks Allan. I understand this is a weird time for everyone. The frustrating part is when an order is placed and paid for but gets delayed because of a shortage on an item that can be changed fairly easily, i.e. grips. If that was communicated to the fitter/retailer upon receipt of the order, it could give the buyer options should they choose to exercise them. Just my 2 cents. Thanks again for the response and support you provide to others here.

I was fitted a few weeks back for T200. My fitter at Club Champion and I discussed this very issue and came up with backup plans in case clubs were being delayed due to something like grips, i.e., ship them and we’ll fit grips with something else.

I went throught the same process, but ran into problems tring to match heads because of type (flat / reg/ strong) and shafts. I finally could not wait and bought stock 200. I understand the problem but still not a happy customer.
They just dont feel like what I was fitted for and it shows in scoring.
  6. Would it make my shipment faster if I changed out my KBS shafts. I’m reading not till late November and that’s a maybe. Also velvet grips.

I should have done myself a favor and not ordered clubs. If you can't put them out then they are not worth waiting for. I won't be able to use them unit spring now.

Read an article on Golf Digest .com. Several "Industry Experts" that they interviewed say that long wait times for delivery of clubs to consumers should be expected thru 2022. Many reasons were given for this. My area has a shop called Moon Golf ( An authorized Titleist dealer ). They have an excellent club repair facility in house. If you are ok with the shafts in their inventory clubs, they will adjust loft, lie and length to your specs, thus eliminating long lead times. If you have a similar place in your area, this would be a way around the current situation.
  9. I had to change my grips on my T100-S/T200 order for it to remain on schedule. I received my full order within 6 weeks, start to finish.

Grip selection seems to be one of the biggest delay problems with custom orders. I guess the best way around this is find to out which grip is in stock and have them uninstalled and shipped in the box. Then, if they are not your grip of choice, take the clubs to where you usually have your gripes replaced and get the ones you want. Most places will let you trade the grips.

Shafts especially KBS is a huge problem and its not just titleist its all OEMs
  12. I preordered the T300s on July 26th!! Still no clubs. Turns out it was the shafts they were waiting on. Switched the shafts to a similar type and it changed my “estimated” arrival to mid-September as opposed to end of October. Pretty annoying, but I know it’s not Titleist’s fault…
  13. I ordered Vokey SM8s via a retailer in the UK on 2nd May. I am still awaiting delivery in September with no real understanding if I will even see them within this golfing season ️.

The challenges of obtaining materials and logistics at this time are understood, but it is somewhat frustrating to commit a spend and then have to wait 6 months plus.

No doubt the next version will be out by the time I get my SM8s .
  14. Technically this version is not out yet. Still waiting Titleist.

I called in to Titleist customer service and was informed that if someone else (Golf Galaxy, Country Club, etc.) placed your order, that they are no longer able to give you information about your order and would have to go through the retailer. Was able to get a rough estimate based on my specs (4-P T100S [all standard], AMT Black S300, Tour Velvet grip), putting delivery at late October, early November. Kinda sucks not be able to enjoy any of the remaining part of the season with these new clubs, especially after plopping down over $1500. Oh, well. I guess it is what it is.
  16. Any one aware of Scotty Cameron putter shortages for delivery to Australia? Ordered a 2021 Phantom X5 back in June and no update on delivery for a couple of months now. Stock offering, only thing a little non-shelf stock was a 33" shaft.

Put my order for T100 heads around Sept 11, my seller just got an email from his rep saying heads are back ordered till Dec. Sounds like the reps are very frustrated with supply as they are dealing with Alot of unhappy customers.
I hope Titleist adds an incentive gift etc to all the promised orders that were taken under the premise they would arrive by a certain time when they knew they would not be able to fulfill the promised delivery times
  18. I would just like the truth just one time that is the upsetting part 4 times I'm told they are delivering on a date and then I have to call to find out they moved again. It truly makes me want to just cancel and move on but I paid a lot of money to be fitted for them, do I just throw that money away. But if the don't come by 10/18 like they said this time I am going to cancel and move on.
  19. Same here. I was told heads (T100) and my shafts (KBS) are both backordered until first week in December. I ordered mine late September. I would not mind a small incentive for the wait. All in all it’s basically winter here in the Midwest so as long as they are here by about February for the new season I should be fine. If they are not, then we have problems….
  20. Did you get them in Feb? I got fitted late Feb so I am afraid I will not get my T100S and a couple T200 till 2023 season.

Just here adding my bit of frustration as well.
Placed my order on the new T100-S at my local Golf Town store on August 28th. Was told early to mid-October ETA. Checked in October and was told the Nippon shafts I had fitted to is not backordered to December 13th. Emailed today to check if I should be expecting it on Dec 13th and now told Feb 2022 ETA...6-months from order to ETA Feb 2022 is a bit ridiculous at this point...
  22. I to was fitted with Nippon (Modus Tour 130) shafts for my T100S’s. That was on the 23rd Sept. The Titleist rep has told me I should have them by end of Dec…we shall see I guess but going off your comment I’m doubtful now

At least Titleist has given you a response. I ordered 11 weeks ago and was told they would ship in 8-10. I've tried reaching out for an update and Titleist wont even give bother to call or email back.

I placed my order for a blended set of the T100S and T200s with project x 6.0 shafts around Oct 14 2021. I was told 8 weeks - mid Dec. My T100s actually arrived early to my surprise and were in on black Friday Nov 26. I was told the T200s heads were still pretty backed up and it may be January worst case. It sounds to me like a lot has to depend on the shaft. My fitter ordered his in Aug with a KBS shaft and he is still waiting on his to arrive. Will report back when I get my T200s in.

PS - The T100S are already beating my expectations and I've only hit balls with them twice.

Update on my order - heard from Titleist rep today who says next shipment of t200 heads expected to arrive Jan 10 and clubs to be out by end of month. Hopefully it's a large order and will help all of us here out.
  26. I got fitted for T300’s with Dynamic Gold white x100 .355 shafts on 11/14. I was told 1/5/22 for delivery originally. I was called last week and told to expect them 12/28. I spoke to someone at Titleist shortly after I placed my order and they told me it was the shaft that was hold up. They weren’t expecting them until 12/12. I’ll keep you guys posted. Going on a trip first week of February and going to buy my own shafts and grips if it comes down to it since PGA has them in stock.
  27. I got another call from PGA store and ship date pushed up almost 4 weeks from original date. Let’s hope this happens.

    Hey Paul,
Marty Evans, Titleist Fitting Specialist, here in sunny Dallas,TX. We as Titleist fitters try to be as transparent as possible when we conduct our fittings with expected wait times. We all utilize a shareable component shortage excel spreadsheet throughout the country. Your Team Titleist event should have been conducted by one of my fellow fitters? Did they not tell you expected delays on head/shaft/grip? If not I apologize and please reach out to them so they can certainly get you an update on your order.

  31. I had a fitting for blended set of T100S and T200 on Oct 16 and made the order on Oct 18 at Titleist Munich Fitting Center. My blended set P-6 T100S and 4,5 T200 all with project X LZ 5.5 0.5" longer and 2 upright. Received the blended set exactly in 6 weeks on Now 29.
The set is amazing, I tried them two days ago and I am very satisfied.
  32. hi everyone.
i just ordered the t200 utility. got an email the other day saying wont be ready till the 15th of march 2022. anyone else had the same problem and how long did you actually wait
  33. Ordered T300 PW-6 on Sept 6th. It's now Dec 12 and still no clubs. They are saying its the shafts. Four months waiting. My patients is starting to wear thin. If I don't have clubs by Feb I'm giving it up and staying with my cally's.
  34. I ordered my T100s set plus Vokeys with Nippon Modus Tour shafts in Sept, speaking to my rep the other day the shafts are holding up my order. The Nippons of my choice will not be available until mid March, I asked to swap them out for AMT Tour White X100’s, unfortunately these shafts are also not expected to in until mid Feb. I have now swapped to PX Rifle’s 6.5 (irons) and 6.0 (wedges). Titleist have these scheduled for delivery on 12/21. If this is the case I should have my gamers early January.

I was sent the expected arrival dates for what looks to be all shafts Titleist offer so if anyone wants to know when their choice of shaft (make and model) is expected to be available at Titleist let me know and I’ll be happy to advise.
  35. Was told 12/12 for dynamic gold x100. Accurate?
  36. Hey James, I was provided;

Dynamic Gold x100 component delivery date of 12/15/2021.
  37. Hi James, I tried posting before however the site froze so not sure if it will go through. I did say 12/15 however that was for Dynamic Gold 120 X100 but you are likely referring to just the Dynamic Gold X100 (ie not 120) If so I have that being delivered to Titleist on 01/15/2022

The Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 I have 12/15 also
  38. Right this is the third attempt at posting back to you as the site keeps freezing. Maybe they all go through maybe not…

Simple answer is as there are multiple X100’s

    Dynamic Golf X100 - Expected 1/19/22
Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 - Expected 12/15/21
    Dynamic Gold 120 X100 - Expected 1/1/22

  39. Dynamic Gold X100 Expected delivery: 1/19/22
Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 Expected Delivery: 12/15/21
    Dynamic Gold 120 X100 Expected Delivery: 1/1/22

Do have an expected date for Dynamic Gold AMT White s300 by chance?
  41. Hey BRome, I wanted to swap my Nippons to AMT Tour White X100’s but they were not available till 2/16/22 which was pretty similar to my Nippons so went with the Project X Rifle 6.5’s to get earlier. I had a fitting and ordered on 9/23/21 so I’ve been waiting a while. Also for Vokey SM8’s

I’ll need you to be a bit more precise on your shaft. At a guess you’re talking about AMT Tour White (T100) S300 which have an estimate delivery date of 12/14/21, if so lucky you :)

Dynamic Gold/AMT have quite a few shafts with similar names so it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which one you are asking for. Hope this helps and will come back to you if you need anything further
  42. Hi RNOON. Just curious, which Nippons did you originally have spec'd? I have a T100 order pending with 120S. Thanks! Mike
  43. Hey MBeatty, I was fitted for the Modus Tour 130’s (x-stiff) the heavier shaft seemed to help with where the face was on the downswing. The list I have doesn’t actually have these listed but they had the 105’s, 120’s and 125’s with delivery dates;

    105 and 120 Delivery Date 03/14/22
    125 Delivery Date 01/24/22

    Hope this helps :)
  44. Ordered a set with the 105's in August. Waiting until March/April is going to be rough.

  47. Hey Spike, I just have a screenshot and there’s to much to type out on my phone so it’s easier if you tell me the shaft make and model and I can let you know.

For me I switched to the PX Rifle. Titleist should have got these in on the 21st Dec. I’ll checking in with them early next week to see where they are at with my custom clubs.

Just got an update from our club pro who talked with the local Titleist rep. The wait is on the heads for the T200s, expected ship of mid-January.

Given my order started (on 8/6) with "everything is in stock it'll be two weeks", to September, to October, to November, I'm not going to hold my breath.
  49. Hey Guys,
Hate to put a further damper on this discussion but I've been waiting on my T-200 order since April 15. I have reached out to both my Titleist rep and KBS for up-dates as to when I can expect my order (several times) and the dates keep getting pushed back. I'm now being told late January but I'm not getting my hopes up, just hope they are here for the new golf season.

I am also waiting for T200’s with KBS shafts. We aren’t getting our stuff until February at the earliest according to what I’ve been told. It’s absolutely ridiculous, I can buy the shafts and have them at my door in a week through other companies, but Titleist is somehow 6 months behind.

Truth is they just don’t care about their customers at all. They take our money and string us along for the ride. I’m pretty much done with Titleist after this experience.

Sorry you feel this way, but understand your frustration. It is being experienced by all brands in the industry as well as other products throughout the the US. If you give up on one guess you have to give up on all companies during this logistics nightmare. In talking with the guys at Titleist they are as frustrated as you are. They cannot ship what they can not get into the US. Believe me, they do care, it is just hard to see when you can't get your clubs. Guess it hard to understand that some can get certain parts when others can not. Different suppliers.

    Update:

I finally received an email reply from Titleist. They said my KBS shafts will be arriving at the facility today and that my T200's head won't arrive until January 2nd. Then another 4-5 weeks after that for the custom build process.

So, looking at 4 month/17 week lead time in total.

They should not still be advertising 8-10 week lead times on the website, they know good and well that time period is not attainable for the majority of orders. I know the supply chain disruptions aren't anyone's fault, but this lack of transparency and communication from a reputable company like Titleist is pretty unacceptable IMO.

    Hey Guys,

I ordered my utility iron, irons and wedges in September.

I did receive one wedge and iron 4 and 5 with standard specification this week.

I am still waiting for a wedge and iron 6-pw that need loft adjustments.

How long does it take for loft adjustment? I just don't understand why they don't ship as whole set.

Furthermore, I paid for an expedited shipping method, but a wedge and two irons came with FedEx standard.
