It is similar to otherss that I have seen elsewhere. For my swing speed (107) I find that yardages match up with about 9 of the clubs on the chart. So there are variances.

A lot of factors can determine distance, but this might provide the info you are seeking.

It is in the bag next to my glove. Sometimes If I get a brain fart out it comes , and blammo the proper club is selected. It took me a few weeks to achieve this info using averages on each club that was hit.

Re: Golf club distance

I agree 100% with Ken W. An individual yardage is unique to each. It's important to know your own yardage and stick/play your own yardage. It is sometimes frustrating for me when my opponent hits a stock 9i to 150, and I'm pulling a 7i.

Re: Golf club distance

No, or at least not one I would trust. Different players with the same speed can vary greatly. Spin rate, launch angle, swing efficiency, golf ball type, and iron lofts are all factors.

A session or two at a fairly well laid out range combined with a bit of play will give you personal distances and help make club selection a lot easier. Laser rangefinders make it so much simpler than when I first had to do it. That was with a notebook and pacing the yardage. Putting in that work really made a difference in lowering my handicap though.
