Finance Manager DACH (m/w/d)

 

You lead the local Finance team in a professional and enthusiastic manner and lead and drive process improvement efficiencies. Deliver high quality reporting in a timely manner and always strive to exceed colleagues and partners expectations. Lead financial controls and compliance for German & Austrian entities and Swiss branch, Italy and eastern Europe Countries

 

Your Profile:

  • Higher education in Finance / Accounting, you have an initial experience of at least five years in an equivalent function.
  • You demonstrate great autonomy in your work, you know how to organize, prioritize, and are solution / result oriented, while respecting deadlines
  • You must have managerial experience and know how to develop and inspire a team spirit
  • You are dynamic, curious with a good analytical mind, you are attracted by the versatility of the missions offered and you work easily in a team.
  • Good communicator, you take a critical look at what already exists while remaining constructive. You are proactive and drive change management in your area.
  • An appetite for IT is necessary
  • You master the Office Pack (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook), and ideally have already worked on AS400.
  • You speak English fluently and you have already been able to perform your duties in an international and multicultural environment

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Accounting functions:
    You manage accounts department, providing guidance and direction to accounts and ledger employees and ensuring adequate controls are in place over the preparation of financial data and the processing of financial transactions.
  • Audit and compliance:
    You manage and coordinate internal and external audit effort and compliance and development of internal controls and the implementation associated policies, procedures and the capture and retention of documentation/audit evidence. You oversee all balance sheet control reconciliations. You apply compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Financial Close Processes:
    You manage and control the financial accounting close process for all sub ledgers, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of reported information and compliance with relevant and accepted accounting policies, company law and tax requirements.
  • Budgeting / Forecasting:
    You manage the planning and forecasting requirements necessary to complete annual Business Plan, forecasts and internal forecasts for balance sheet and profit & loss statement
  • Tax compliance and local statutory filings:
    You manage obligations to German, Austrian and Swiss, Italy and eastern Europe tax authorities, including corporation tax, VAT, payroll taxes and customs duty and annual statutory filings. 
  • Treasury:
    You manage treasury function involving controlling cash flow and forecasting, managing credit lines and deposits with EMEA and US teams. General dealing with banking relationships on day to day basis 
  • Business Partner and Decision support:
    You assist the General Manager and the Brands Leaders to support decision making with financial analysis and compliance advice.
  • Car fleet:
    You manage the company's vehicle fleet with the collaboration with the HR Assistant
  • IT leadership:
    You manage and control information systems projects related to the offices
